Pre-K Curriculum Focus
Monday-Friday 1st Day of School: September 6th, 2011 Our Pre-K program meets every day of the week. This is to help your child prepare for Kindergarten. Kindergarten in our district is all day and currently meets on Monday-Thursday. It is important to help your child adjust to a schedule that requires them to be up, dressed, fed and on their way to school every day of the week ready to learn. Our Pre-K program includes daily study of literacy, math, science, social studies and art. Hooked on Phonics ® is also used for literacy. The Pre-K room has a large selection of Montessori materials for exploration and discovery. The social studies curriculum includes being a good citizen, what it means to be in a community and care of our environment. Daily writing work and monthly theme based science projects ensure that your child is ready for the challenges of a Kindergarten classroom.

Rainy Day Recess(Extended Day Program)We understand how hectic your schedules can be and have created a program to help! We now offer early drop-off and late pick-up. Combination of preschool and extended day cannot exceed 4-hours.
*Breakfast or lunch is available for an additional $3 per day for those interested.
